You’ve got questions.

We’ve got some answers. Below are some common questions we get from couples regarding weddings and engagements. If there’s something we didn’t cover be sure to reach out.

FAQs

How many weddings have you photographed?

Hundreds…this is our 13th year photographing weddings.

Do you travel?

Ohh, heck yes! We love to travel and we will create a custom package for your out of town wedding. Contact us for specific details but it often times just requires two nights of accommodations and travel (gas, flight, rental car).

How many photos will we receive from our wedding?

It depends on the number of hours we cover, but let’s say we shoot for 8 hours, you will receive at least 600 images.

Do you and Blaine always photograph together?

Yes, we shoot all weddings together! If timing works out, Blaine may also come to the engagement session too, it’s fun to all hang out before the wedding.

You do photo and video? What’s up with that?

We do and we love it! If you hire us to shoot both photo + film, Blaine will shoot all film while Kelsey shoots photo. We will bring along a third shooter to assist with photography! This combo makes for super fun, fresh video.

Do you edit all the photos?

Yes, I (Kelsey) individually edit each image. I will make some black and white images but a majority will be in color. We do not overly edit and will not be adding perfect bodies or new noses, but will be sure to fix anything distracting and temporary (like large blemishes, skin inconsistencies, etc).

What is your turnaround time?

It depends on the season but sessions will be delivered within 3 weeks and weddings will be delivered in 6 weeks or less.

What’s your payment|booking schedule?

We require a 30% down payment for weddings (+signed contract) to reserve your date; 90 days later, 20% is due; and the last 50% is just due 2 weeks before your wedding date.

Do you photograph families?

Yes, I love photographing families. It begins more and more important to me the older our girls get. Nothing makes me happier than photographing our couples as they become families.
